Here are the things you should avoid when naming a business term:<\/p>\n

  1. Avoid references to hardware, software, or processing considerations, unless that’s what you are defining<\/li>\n
  2. Don’t use abbreviations (the only one you should have an exception for is the ID, which can be used to replace the word \u201cIdentifier\u201d, or the abbreviation of your company’s name)<\/li>\n
  3. Do not use acronyms (you can make an exception for your company’s name, departments, or others, but try to limit this<\/li>\n
  4. Do not use special characters (adjusted based on the alphabet of your language)<\/li>\n
  5. Do not reflect permitted values in the
