Hi Naushad, ITIL and data governance have 2 different focuses. The overlap that I can think of is that poor data governance can compromise ITIL objectives. So if your data governance program is focusing on the quality, standards, processes of the data related to incident management (as an example), then that’s the intersection between the two.

While what we learnt in ITIL there were development teams and operations teams in IT who develop & manage the applications/systems respectively.
